The FCO number has been changed from DD11C-I-008 to DD11C-I-004 to comply with requirements of DEC STD 071. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Obtain the Customer's permission and power down the System to be worked on via the console switch. Locate the main breaker (CB1) on the cabinet power controller and set it to the "0" (off) position. ********************************************************* * !! CAUTION !! * * * * DO NOT SLIDE THE BA11 BOX OUT OF THE CABINET UNLESS * * THE CAB IS BOLTED TO AN ADJACENT CAB OR THE * * STABILIZER LEGS ARE EXTENDED. * * * * ONLY ONE CABINET IS ALLOWED TO HAVE AN OPTION OR * * BOX PULLED OUT AT ANY ONE TIME. * ********************************************************* 2. Slide out the BA11 box and remove any modules or cables which are inserted in the SPC slots. Note their placement so that they may be reinstalled in the same locations. 3. Unplug the DD11-CK from the power supply. 4. Unscrew the 2 screws which fasten the DD11-CK to the BA11 box and remove the backplane. Be careful not to damage the backplane because it must be re-installed after the rework. 5. Perform the deletes and adds as shown on pages 3 and 4 of this FCO. When the rework is complete, proceed with step 6. 6. Re-install the reworked backplane in the BA11, using the 2 screws removed in step 4. 7. Plug the backplane into the power supply and re-install all the modules and cables which were previously removed. 8. Reset the CB1 on the power controller and power up the System using the console switch. 9. Run the diagnostics on each device that is plugged into the newly installed DD11-CK backplane. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ | FCO DD11C-I-004 | | | | | | | | | |d|i|g|i|t|a|l| | PAGE 3 OF 4 |_|_|_|_|_|_|_| | | _______________________________|_________________________________________ DELETE SHEET New List: DD11C REV "CP1" Dated: 21-Mar-85 Old List: DD11C REV "BP1" Dated: 13-Aug-80 MAKE ALL DELETIONS FIRST WHEN INSTALLING Signal Name AP From To Pin Z Notes Add Del AC LO L B02F1 C01V1 1 D " C04V1 B03F1 1 D BR4 L B02D2 D01H2 1 D " D04H2 B03D2 1 D BR5 L B02C1 D01F2 1 D " D04F2 B03C1 1 D BR6 L A02U2 D01E2 2 D " A03U2 A04U2 2 D " D04E2 A03U2 1 D BR7 L A02T2 D01D2 1 D " D04D2 A03T2 1 D INTR L A02B1 F01M1 1 D " F04M1 A03B1 1 D NPR L A02S2 F01J1 2 D " F04J1 A03S2 1 D SACK L A02R2 F01T2 1 D " F04T2 A03R2 1 D END SIGNAL DELETES _________________________________________________________________ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ | FCO DD11C-I-004 | | | | | | | | | |d|i|g|i|t|a|l| | PAGE 4 OF 4 |_|_|_|_|_|_|_| | | _______________________________|_________________________________________ ADD SHEET New List: DD11C REV "CP1" Dated: 21-Mar-85 Old List: DD11C REV "BP1" Dated: 13-Aug-80 Signal Name AP From To Pin Z Notes Add Del AC LO L C04V1 B03F1 H1 TWP A " C04T1 B03C2 (G) A " B02F1 C01V1 H2 TWP A " B02C2 C01T1 (G) A BR4 L D04H2 B03D2 H1 TWP A " D03C2 B03C2 (G) A " B02D2 D01H2 H2 TWP A " B02C2 D01C2 (G) A BR5 L D04F2 B03C1 H1 TWP A " D04C2 B03C2 (G) A " B02C1 D01F2 H2 TWP A " B01B2 D02C2 (G) A BR6 L A03U2 A04U2 2 A " D04E2 A03U2 H1 TWP A " D03C2 A03T1 (G) A " A02U2 D01E2 H2 TWP A " A02T1 D01C2 (G) A BR7 L D04D2 A03T2 H1 TWP A " D04C2 A04S1 (G) A " A02T2 D01D2 H2 TWP A " A03T1 D02C2 (G) A INTR L F04M1 A03B1 H1 TWP A " F03J2 A03C2 (G) A " A02B1 F01M1 H2 TWP A " A02C2 F01J2 (G) A NPR L F04J1 A03S2 H1 TWP A " F04J2 A04S1 (G) A " A02S2 F01J1 H2 TWP A " A02T1 F01J2 (G) A SACK L F04T2 A03R2 H1 TWP A " F04T1 A04P1 (G) A " A02R2 F01T2 H2 TWP A " A03T1 F02T1 (G) A END SIGNAL ADDS _________________________________________________________________ \^ DD11C \\DD11C \\ZIBAILO \\1986 \\APR \\FCO_DOCS
