Corrosive foam strips within the system enclosure that deteriorates the etch on the system module causing the inability to boot and or function properly. SOLUTION: Installation of contents of EQ Kit (EQ-01627-01). <<>> FIELD EFFECTIVITY: All KN02 system modules (70-26722-02) with a revision of D02 or before will need to be replaced. <<>> QUICK CHECK: New labels attached to the rear chassis will show the part # and rev. Any 70-26722-02 chassis without such label OR any chassis showing a revision of D02 or below should be replaced. Experiencing unpredictable system hangs due to one of the following: - Overshoot on the SCSI pals - Overshoot on the system state pals - Delay line component problems 3. Non-conformance with the Turbochannel DMA specifications. 4. The foam strips within the system enclosure do not meet the required U.L. ratings of a substance that comes in contact with current carry- ing components. SOLUTION: Installation of contents of EQ Kit (EQ-01620-01). <<< THIS FCO, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE KN02-AA-F002 WILL SUPERSEDE THE PREVIOUSLY PLANNED SINGLE KN02 FCO.
