PROBLEM: Presence of Hard and Soft Data Pattern related read 
errors. 

CORRECTION: Update the RP07 documentation to reflect all the changes 
that have been made to the Drive.

PROBLEM: IF a Massbus Initialize is issued from the Controller, and the 
RP07 is doing a "SEEK", the Position in Progress (PIP) hangs.  Also, a 
"Keep Alive Cease" problem is exhibited when running the RP07's Internal
Diagnostics.  If the RP07 is Spun down and Spun back up it, can 
occasionally issue an "Attention" to the Controller.

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: Rework RP07 Drives for all DEC SYSTEM 10/20's.  This FCO 
implements ECO RP07-CX040.

QUICK CHECK: A1A7 Revision -09; A1A9 Revision -200; A1A10 Revision -300.
If label on drive has a Rev level sticker below 70, then this FCO applies.
        
   	This revised FCO supersedes the original release dated
   	16 Feb 1987. It has been revised to correct the Rev
   	levels of A1A7, A1A9, A1A10, in the NOTE section on page
   	2 of the document.

PROBLEM: Improper Write Current Amplitude for new "G" type media.
Increase Write Current needed when installing new HDA with "G"
type media. Implementing this FCO without "G" type media will
increase reliability of the HDA and prepare the Drive for future
use of the "G" type media. 

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: Retrofit all RP07's with 348 Ohm 1/4 Watt
resistors. This FCO implements ECO #RP07-CXO. 

QUICK CHECK: A1A16 Read/Write Safety Module at revision "105" for PCA
number B9706402 and revision "02" for PCA number B9706632.
