PROBLEM: This FCO fixes a timing discrepancy with SYNCIN/SYNCOUT
signals on the DRB32-W option.  This problem could cause system
crashes.

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: Upgrade DRB32-W options on any VAXBI systems, i.e.
62XX, 82XX, 83XX, 8530, 8700, 88X0, 8974 & 8978.  It incorporates ECO
T1023-MK005.

QUICK CHECK: E34 is P/N 23-109L1-00.

PROBLEM: This FCO fixes simultaneous intermittent timeout problems
with the DRB32-C option while transferring data from the VAX to the
Cray system. This situation could cause both the VAX and the Cray to
crash.

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: Applies to all DRB32-C options only.  All DRB32-C
options and field service spares (T1026 modules) should be upgraded to
revision "E1".  Self-maintenance customer orders are filled by the
Customer Return Center (CRC) on an exchange basis.

QUICK CHECK:  Revision E1 module - wires have been added at location
E50, pins 11,12 and 13.

PROBLEM: This FCO corrects two problems: 1. A "Hang" condition might
occur when a User Device causes an unexpected condition while
transferring data.  Once the DRB32-W is hung, the system must power
fail to reset the DRB32. 2. T1023-00 doesn't contain a Word Counter.
T1023-YA adds a Word Counter.

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: This FCO applies to all DRB32-W options which 
contain the T1023-00 module.  The DRB32-W option may be found on any
VAXBI bus system that provides connectivity to any one of a wide
variety of far end devices.  This FCO incorporates ECO T1023-YA-TW001.

QUICK CHECK: T1023-YA is etched on the module and E34 is 
part # 23-022L5-00.

PROBLEM:  This FCO corrects a problem that exists during FAST DMA WRITE's to 
a user device.

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: This FCO applies to all DRB32-W options. The DRB32-W option 
may be found on any VAXBI bus system that provides connectivity to any one of 
a wide variety of far end devices.  This FCO incorporates ECO T1023YA-TWO002.

SOULTION:  Replace T1023-YA module with Min Revision "C03".

QUICK CHECK:  Locations E82, E83, E84 and E85 will contain 190-21330-01.

The DEC onsite labor charge will be the time required  
to install and test the FCO at the then current hourly  
rate.
