       Important Maintenance Information

When replacing the CPU module (54­21797­01) in a

47ZBM­A9/B9 (MicroVAX 3100­90) or 47DBM­B9 

(VAX 4000­100), firmware changes may have to be 

made to configure the CPU module for the appropriate 

system type.  All spare CPU modules will be configured 

for the KA52­AA (47DBM­B9).   After replacing the

KA50­AA (47ZBM­A9/B9) CPU module, at the console

prompt, run the following console test to properly configure

the CPU for correct operation.



To configure a KA50­AA:
