PROBLEM: 1123 and 1153 systems, 1. Memory corruption due to bus
grant problem. 2. 64K page boundary crossing problem under DECX.
3. Bus interaction with 16 bit backup. uVAX systems, 1. Not
software enabled messages. 2. Phantom device address of MUA0 4224. 

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: All TQK50 Q bus controller modules (M7546) below
Rev F1 when problems are evident. All 1123 and 1153 systems must
have this installed to operate RSTS 9.2. This FCO incorporates
ECO M7546-SHR006. 

QUICK CHECK: Chip in position E3 marked 065L1.

PROBLEM: Failure of TK50/TQK50 subsystem to:
A. Consistently perform Backup/Verify. B. Recover
from a Control C (abort) during an operation. 
C. Consistently write multiple small files without
errors using PIP and the NXM timeout causes
"Non-Existent Memory/Parity Errors.     

FIELD EFFECTIVITY: This FCO is intended for all PDP11
16-bit Q-Bus systems.  Do not install this FCO on any
32 bit Q-Bus systems.  32 bit systems do not exhibit any
of the symptoms described in this FCO.  All locally
stocked spares will be upgraded with this FCO.     

QUICK CHECK: Existence of 23-331E5 in location E28
indicates that the FCO is present.  Module Revision J1
or greater already has this change. Controller
hardware Revisions 8 and 9 have this change.  The
hardware revision can be determined by examining the
errorlog.
